1. Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to MeChitrakar. By accessing, registering, or purchasing/selling products on our website or mobile application, you ("User," "Vendor," or "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Nature of the Platform (Marketplace Disclaimer)
MeChitrakar operates strictly as an online digital marketplace that connects independent third-party sellers ("Vendors") with end-consumers ("Customers").

We do not manufacture, store, or directly own the inventory sold by vendors on our platform (unless explicitly stated otherwise).

The contract for the sale of any product is strictly between the Buyer and the respective Vendor. While we facilitate transactions, payment processing, and dispute mediation, we are not a direct party to the sales contract between Buyer and Vendor.

3. Vendor Terms & Responsibilities
Product Listings: Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions, pricing, inventory stock, images, and legal compliance of the items they list.

Direct Fulfillment: Vendors are required to pack and ship purchased items directly to the Customer using reliable courier partners within the agreed dispatch timeline (typically 4–5 days).

Product Quality: Vendors must ensure all items are brand new, authentic, unblemished, and safely packaged. Selling counterfeit, illegal, or substandard goods will result in immediate termination of the vendor account.

Commissions & Payouts: The Platform charges a pre-agreed commission fee on each successful sale. Vendor payouts are processed on a recurring schedule after deducting applicable commissions, taxes, and adjustments for returns or refunds.

4. Buyer Terms, Orders & Payments
Pricing & Taxes: All listed prices are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise.

Order Confirmation: Orders are officially confirmed once payment is successfully processed through our authorized payment gateways or via Cash on Delivery (COD), if available.

Multiple Vendors: Because items are shipped directly by individual vendors, orders containing products from multiple sellers may arrive in separate packages at different times.

5. Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Shipping by Vendors: Delivery timelines are managed and fulfilled directly by the respective vendors. Tracking details will be provided once the item is dispatched.

Returns & Exchanges: Customers may request a return or replacement within 7 days of delivery, subject to the specific vendor's return policy.

Condition of Return: Returned items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and must include all original packaging and tags. Certain categories (such as personal care, innerwear, or custom items) may be marked as non-returnable for hygiene reasons.

Refunds: Once the vendor receives and inspects the returned item, approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

6. Intellectual Property
All platform design, logos, software, text, and source code are the exclusive intellectual property of MeChitrakar. Vendor-uploaded images and brand names remain the property of the respective vendors, who grant us a license to display them for promotional and transactional purposes on the site.

7. Limitation of Liability
MeChitrakar shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from product defects, delivery delays caused by third-party vendors/couriers, or injuries resulting from products sold by independent vendors on the platform.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
